In order to resolve the issue of illegal foreign workers in Thailand, and regulate those who hire them or help to bring them into the country, the government has urgently promulgated a new law, entitled the Royal Decree on Managing the Work of Foreigners B.E. 2560 (2017) (the New Law), which came into effect on June 23, 2017. It replaces and unifies the Working of Foreigner Act B.E. 2551 (2008) and the Royal Decree on Recruitment of Foreigners B.E. 2559 (2016).
This workshop will give you the tools to manage conflict constructively in the workplace. Due to the ever-increasing costs of conflict in the workplace, employers are increasingly. Employee conflict, labour disputes and discrimination claims in particular are increasingly common. It is also the tool used by professional mediators to resolve conflicts between disputing parties. For the business owners out there, you may have to pay your staff at a new, slightly higher minimum wage. The minimum wage in Thailand varies from THB300 – THB330. Employers in Thailand who fail to pay the Minimum Wage may be subject to punishment by Thailand's government!!!
